I recently attended the Trend Micro Certified Anti-Virus Professional Certified class conducted by Genovate Solutions from 6 to 10 February 2006.

I found the class to be highly rewarding, well organized, and excellently instructed. The program dealt on the nuts and bolts of virus analysis. The lessons were progressive, and each module built on the previous day’s learning culminating in a practical examination. The course was “hands on” and consisted of both theory and a number of challenging exercises. It is certification program worth attaining as it is vendor neutral and provides students with a solid understanding of how a virus infects a system and how to manual remove all traces of the infection.
