with a single tutor throughout the course. Learners progressed
by reading the internet-based course materials, completing
individual activities and projects, and attending the instructor-lead
sessions.
The differential factors in the Course
E-tutor is taught, managed and maintained by an expert multidisciplinary
team.
We do not see on-line learning as a technical discipline.
Instead, we concentrate on developing the communication,
methodology and information handling capabilities that all
on-line tutors need, and we believe the best way to do it
is through collaborative activity and blended learning.
We are committed in making this course successful by virtues
of the following:
To treat learners as individuals
To respond
quickly to queries, questions and comments
To provide
simple and accessible web design

CCNA
The 5-day CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network
Associate) course is a foundation and beginner level
in and apprentice knowledge of networking. CCNA certified
professionals can install, configure, and operate LAN,
WAN, and dial access services for small networks (100
nodes or fewer), including but not limited to use of
these protocols: IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP,
VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists.
Java
Java Programming for Beginners
First time programmers will find this course an excellent choice for
learning programming using the Java Programming language. This course
helps delegates understand the significance of the Java programming
language. With this knowledge, delegates can develop skills in the
areas of object-oriented programming. By the end of class, delegates
will be able to program simple Java applets and read and edit Java
technology source code.
Java Programming for Advanced Users
This course provides programmers who are familiar with C or C++ to
learn how to develop Java applications and applets. What this course
can provide is an exhaustive coverage of the Java language and Core
Classes from the Java Development Kit (JDK), with a variety of practical
exercises to reinforce the use of the object-oriented approach. The
course teaches students the syntax of the JavaTM language, object-oriented
programming in Java, creating graphical user interfaces, as well
as using the Java event model to handle events and catch exceptions.
Gain practical experience through out all the major aspects of the
design and development of Java programs. You will also learn file
input/output (I/O), threads and networking in Java. The exercises
are designed to encourage the use of object-orientation to develop
reusable components as well as demonstrate the effective partitioning
of larger systems. Upon completion of the course, participants will
have both the theoretical knowledge and practical experience to use
Java to design quality software systems.
Java Programming for Developers
This course provides programmers who are familiar with C or C++ to
learn how to develop Java applications using JDBC and RMI. What this
course can provide is an exhaustive coverage of the distributed computing
using Java RMI and CORBA, with a variety of practical exercises to
reinforce the use of the object-oriented approach. The course also
teaches students the syntax of the Bean programming in Java, creating
Bean Model, as well as using the Java event model to handle events
and catch exceptions. Gain practical experience through out all the
major aspects of the design and development of Bean programs. You
will also learn Server side programming Servlets. The exercises are
designed to encourage the use of object-orientation to develop reusable
components as well as demonstrate the effective deployment of Web
Applications in Servlets. Upon completion of the course, participants
will have both the theoretical knowledge and practical experience
to use Java to design quality software systems.
Enterprise JavaBeans
The Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition, or J2EE, defines a set of
components and builds a service-oriented infrastructure into the
platform to automatically support and manage components. These specifications
are Enterprise JavaBeans (EJBs). Participants will learn how to create
J2EE compliant EJBs and how to combine them into robust enterprise
applications. Also covers these essential topics: Session and Entity
Beans, the Container framework in which EJBs function, transaction
and security management features. Participants will use the standard
J2EE Reference Implementation server in lab exercises. This course
also deals with Exception handling by Bean and Security issues.
Java 2 Mobile Edition (J2ME)
Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition (J2ME) aims to adapt Java for the wide
spectrum of consumer products ranging from small devices such as
palm pilots, mobile phones, to home appliances such as TV, refrigerator,
etc. Although J2ME is still using the same Java language as the other
editions, it has to reduce the size of the Java runtime environment
in order to run in devices that have various memory and power constraints.
It achieves this by removing unnecessary classes from the Java 2
Platform, Standard Edition and augmenting it with new classes that
are suitable for small devices.
RosettaNet
This courses looks at RosettaNet standard from the technical
and business perspective. RosettaNet is a "global
business consortium creating the electronic commerce
framework to align processes in the IT supply chain.
The important aspect in the eBusiness is the 'dictionaries,'
the 'framework,' the 'Partner Interface Processes - PIPs'
and the 'eBusiness processes which is what RosettaNet
brings to the eBusiness applications. RosettaNet fills
this existing gap by focusing on building a master dictionary
to define properties for products, partners, and business
transactions. This master dictionary, coupled with an
established implementation framework (exchange protocols),
is used to support the eBusiness dialog known as the
Partner Interface Process or PIP. A RosettaNet PIP is
an XML specification designed to align a specific business
process between supply chain partners. RosettaNet PIPs
create new areas of alignment within the overall IT supply-chain
eBusiness processes, allowing IT supply-chain partners
to scale eBusiness, and to fully leverage Ecom applications
and the Internet as a business-to-business commerce tool.
WebServices Application Development
WebServices Application Development course is an intensive
5 days course with hands on creating the Webservices model.
This course also covers business Scenarios and sample application
to enforce the concept. Course covers SOAP Messaging and
SOAP Extension, it also covers the WSDL documents, UDDI registry.
The implementation will be shown using Java Technologies.
XML
XML the Extensible Markup Language has revolutionized
the web processing market and the W3C XML DOM is potentially
one of the most important standards since the XML specification
gives implementers a common vocabulary to use in manipulating
the XML document. It is widely adopted by most of the
main software vendors and with this; the increase in
importance of know-how to use XML within the development
environment has become shallow. XML has become an essential
tool in an application developer’s toolbox, which
allows easy interchange of pure data between disparate
systems across the Internet. In the course, individuals
will be given an extensive experience transforming and
styling XML data and the skills of exploiting XSL components
to manipulate and analyze XML data will be impartial.
This 4-day course is designed for all levels of IT professionals
who have to develop XML documents and XML document definitions.
The course is furnished with a series of exercises, which
are intended to instill a deeper level of understanding.
There will be opportunities to study examples of transformation
files and how it might be used. Individuals will acquire
skills in the need for XML, XMI Technologies, DTD/XML
Schema, XML Namespace, XSL, XSLT, using servlets to create
XML and using ASP to create XMLS, CDF and soap concept.
