SICCI-DBS Singapore Indian Entrepreneur Awards 2005

The independent Panel of Judges and KPMG (Knowledge Advisor) have completed their evaluations and picked the 'SICCI - DBS Singapore Indian Entrepreneur 2005' (SIEA) award winners. Chaired by Mr.. J. Y. Pillay, Chairman, Singapore Exchange Limited, the panel had picked 10 top entrepreneurs for the 3 Award categories.

We are pleased to announce that the committee has selected our Group CEO, Mr. J. Anton Ravindran, as one of the top SICCI-DBS Singapore Indian Entrepreneurs of 2005 for medium size companies category along with three other Entrepreneurs. SIEA is the second award this year that Mr. Anton is short listed, following the Entrepreneur of the Year 2005 ~ a Rotary-ASME Award, which is announced on 30th Sep, 05.

The SIEA is set to recognize and highlight the Leadership and Entrepreneurial Resilience of the leading Indian Entrepreneurs in Singapore to compete in the global arena.

The Chairman, Mr M Raja ram, stated at the Press Conference, "The awards last year clearly highlighted that the leading Indian Entrepreneurs in Singapore have the Leadership and Entrepreneurial Resilience to compete in the global arena. SICCI's Anniversary Dinner & Presentation Ceremony for 'SICCI - DBS Singapore Indian Entrepreneurs Awards 2005' was held in conjunction with SICCI's Anniversary Dinner celebrations on Monday, 24th of October 2005 at the Ritz Carlton Millenia, Singapore. His Excellency Professor S Jayakumar, Deputy Prime Minister and Co-ordinating Minister for National Security & Minister for Law had graced the occasion as the esteemed Guest-of-Honor.
