Scallion Tech Signs MoU with Genovate

Chennai based Scallion Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has signed an MoU for software development and training with Genovate Solutions Pte. Ltd. based in Singapore. As part of the agreement, Scallion will offer Genovate's IT training in Java Technology, CRM technology, XML, SCM, and wireless technology. Additionally, it will offer e-commerce training and certifications from CIW of USA and ASP Linux who are Genovate's principals.

Successful graduates will be absorbed by the Application development Centres set up in chennai or by Genovate in Singapore or Australia as part of its consulting and application development team. Scallion also plans to recruit new franchise partners in other cities in South India. Genovate was established in 1997 and has technical partnerships with IBM, SUN and Oracle.

Anton Ravindran, CEO, Genovate, said, "We are planning to spend around 2-3 million Singapore dollars to set up our development centres." Our target for first year is around 2000 students, he added.
