SAP Knowledge Services Group in Pact with Genovate Systems

Mumbai: The SAP Knowledge Services Group, which delivers SAP education and training, has signed on a new education partner — the Singapore-based Genovate Systems. Genovate Systems will be setting up a centre in Mumbai to conduct training on all SAP core modules.

At present Siemens Information Systems Ltd. runs SAP training courses in Delhi and Kolkata, while the Bangalore centre is run by SAP itself.

Speaking to eFE, SAP Know-ledge Services Group head Narayanan Sampath said that while the Bangalore centre was focussed on customer relationship management (CRM) and allied modules, the Mumbai centre will be focussed on modules concerned with production planning, materials management and financial management among others.

Last year SAP certified 760 people through its 'academies' on courses run by its various centres across the country.

The 'academies' typically cater to professionals with 4-5 years of functional experience, who possess domain knowledge in a particular area.

All the software for these academies is provided by SAP, which also certifies the professionals who complete the course successfully.
