ASPLinux Appoints Genovate Training Partner for Singapore, India

ASPLINUX, a company specialising Linux-based solutions, has announced an agreement with Genovate to provide ASPLinux training and certification to enterprise Linux customers in Singapore and India. This arrangement broadens the availability of ASPLinux training and certification in Asia.

Genovate is a firm providing customised software services and training for professionals. It specialises in providing solutions and training in e-commerce, Java technology, XML, and voice recognition technology.

The agreement pairs ASPLinux Linux training and certification with Genovate training experts to train IT (Information Technology) professionals who want to learn Linux-based systems, further develop their Internet working skills and achieve certification in the adoption of open source solutions within their organisations.

Leveraging on ASPLinux professional Linux training and certification, Genovate will offer three levels of courses. This includes GNU (Gnu's Not UNIX) /Linux Fundamentals, GNU/Linux System Administration and GNU/Linux Network and Security Administration.

Apart from the traditional multiple choice written exam and paper certification, these four-day courses provide students with hands-on training in various fields. The training includes installation, configuration, troubleshooting and system administration on lab and programming exercises.

Upon completion of the course, students will receive certification on either GNU/Linux LPI or RedHat, depending on the level of course fulfilment.
